VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Since 2006, a group of Naturopathic physicians and students have volunteered at sporting events. The ANBSP is affiliated with Integrative Medicine Group (IMG), non-profit group that organizes volunteer opportunities. IMG’s goals are 1. To provide community service at the events, 2. To provide education to integrative medicine practitioners, and 3. To encourage and assist research. Currently IMG has 2 annual events, The Seattle Marathon and The Emerald City Volleyball Tournament that ask for medical volunteers. In order to provide quality medical care at those events IMG ask those licensed practitioners and students that are members of ANBSP.

 

Requirements to become a medical volunteer at Sporting Events.

1. Has to be a member of ANBSP

2. Has to complete IMG volunteer application process
